Boost your confidence with a beautiful, straight smile

Straightening your teeth not only improves confidence, it also supports better overall health. It can help prevent issues such as gum disease, jaw joint problems, tooth decay, difficulty chewing and speech concerns.

Dr. Lee is our orthodontist at Saddleback Dentistry. He has completed many years of advanced education and holds a Master of Science in Orthodontics. He has over a decade of experience as an orthodontist, including six years as a general dentist, and he has treated over 1,000 orthodontics cases.

In addition to being very skilled and intelligent, Dr. Lee really cares about his patients. He strives to make getting braces a fun experience and form relationships with his patients and their families.

How orthodontics can help your child or teen

Dr. Lee, like the rest of our staff at Saddleback Dentistry, enjoys working with young patients to give them a healthy, beautiful smile. A straight smile can do wonders for your child’s self-esteem, and with clear orthodontic options such as Invisalign, your child can straighten their teeth without people noticing they have braces.

Not only does straightening your child’s teeth improve the aesthetic quality of their smile, but it can help them prevent dental health problems. Crooked teeth are more difficult to clean, which means your child may be more prone to gum disease and tooth decay. Misaligned jaws can lead to chewing difficult, headaches and other jaw (TMJ) issues.

Early orthodontics

Early orthodontics—also called “interceptive orthodontics”—is a treatment we offer that guides jaw growth to improve bite alignment while your child’s jaw is still developing. Early orthodontics can make future orthodontic treatment simpler, quicker and less involved. In some cases, it may help minimize or avoid the need for braces later on altogether.

Orthodontic treatment for adults

It’s common to picture teenagers when you think of orthodontic treatment, but in fact many adults straighten their teeth, which can greatly improve their oral health and bite alignment.

The average treatment time for adults varies. Usually it takes about two years with traditional braces and a year to 18 months with Invisalign to straighten your smile.

For adults, the appearance of braces may be a chief concern. Dr. Lee offers Invisalign clear aligners as well as clear brackets as more aesthetic alternatives to traditional metal braces.

Invisalign clear aligners

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses a series of virtually invisible plastic aligners to straighten teeth without metal brackets, wires or rubber bands. It is a comfortable, convenient alternative to regular metal braces.

Dr. Lee is an Invisalign Premier Preferred Provider, which means that he completes extensive continuing education Invisalign classes every year and has completed hundred of Invisalign cases.

Dr. Lee can meet with you and let you know if you are a candidate for Invisalign clear aligners.
